Main Media Center
The Salt Palace Convention Center serves as the Main Media Center, including
NBC-TV. The entire building is surrounded by two 8-foot chain-link security
fences, one on the sidewalk and one in the middle of the street. The outer fence is covered with blue fabric emblazoned with "SALT LAKE 2002" in French and English. To enter the building, one has to pass a security guard, walk about
200 feet between the fences, enter the building, and pass another security
guard.

site of the Olympic Flame. It's also surrounded by two fences.
