Point Sur State Historic Park Website


Point Sur Lighthouse stands atop a volcanic rock on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, near Big Sur.   The lighthouse itself is operated by the U.S.Coast Guard.   Supporting buildings no longer used by the Coast Guard are now being restored by the Central Coast Lighthouse Keepers, a volunteer organization.
Lighthouse Keepers also conduct public tours.
